02 The Challenge

How to stand out in a sea of sameness?

While Lindenberg experience is distinctly unique compared to its competitors, it’s still competing for share of market among far bigger players. Most travellers also rely on online travel agents to book, which makes it hard to stand out. The challenge facing Lindenberg at a brand level was how to stand out within a sea of sameness.

The challenge for the new website was how to design a consistent brand experience across the main site and individual hotel pages when each hotel is unique.

03 Our Approach

Embracing neononsense and storytelling.

We worked collaborative with the Lindenberg team first develop a marketing strategy.

The challenge is it’s hard to standout when people are so focused on ticking items off their to-do list, leaving them disconnected with their senses numb. How boring.

Lindenberg is anything but boring. Its philosophy of neononsense guides the creation of moments and experiences that are unpredictable and therefore memorable. Unlike many of its competitors, Lindenberg’s strength is its content.

We will use storytelling to cut through the sea of sameness, inviting people to reconnect with world around them and create memorable experiences by choosing to stay at Lindenberg.

This carried through to the website design which features bold colours and distinct imagery from the brands six hotels. The website is built on WordPress, which was chosen to make content management as easy as possible for Lindenberg’s marketing team.

04 The Outcome

Lookout world, here we come!

The strategy was implemented at the end of 2022 with the website launched in March 2023.
