The Plunge In Pictures

Archived

At the weekend our brave team ascended the Central Park tower in the centre of Perth to abseil down in wind and rain in aid of people less fortunate than themselves. Anthony (Digital Marketing), Brant (Senior Designer & Partner), Johannes (General Manager & Partner) from Clue Design were joined by one of our clients, Jon (Director of Start Right Homes) to raise money and awareness for the brilliant work of Anglicare WA.

From below they looked like extra-terrestrial silhouettes!

The sky went grey and the rain fell as the boys began the plunge. The wind chose to outshine both the clouds and the rain though.

Hmm. Those clouds are looking a tad menacing...

Things got a little scary as the team were finishing the first part of the descent: Anthony almost fell victim to the wind. However the pros from Zenith Events ensured safety was maintained!

The descent had to be split into two, since it was well over 200m and the ropes just don't allow for that!  As the wind had picked up even more, our guys had to split into pairs for safety. Johannes and Brant went first:

Then it was time for Jon and Anthony to finish the challenge!

Then it was smiles all round!

So far we've raised just over $3,600 for Anglicare. Check out the fundraising page and donate if you can at everyday hero.
