Junior Help Desk - Great Opportunity
Clue Design is seeking the services of a full time Junior Help Desk person, our previous person has been promoted so were looking for someone to start immediately. Clue Design is a leading supplier of professional innovative website & e-commerce solutions in Australia. This is a fantastic opportunity for a person to enter the web industry and really learn from the ground up; there is heaps of room to grow with many career paths at your finger tips, including web site design, programming, account & project management, and search engine optimisation.
It’s also a very challenging position requiring a highly motivated person with integrity, a desire to succeed and develop your skills. We are looking for someone with the right personal characteristics, ability to learn quickly, great communicator and a real passion for the all things web.
As a Junior Support Technician, your responsibilities will include:

Field incoming support requests from clients via telephone, e-mail & in person in a courteous manner.

Deal with ad-hoc support requirements.
-
Build rapport and investigate problem details from clients.
-
Prioritize and schedule problems. Escalate problems (when required) to the appropriately experienced technician.
-
Record, track, and document the help desk request.
-
Work alongside other team members on projects on various tasks such as web design.
-
Learn and become an expert on our Mintox software (www.mintox.com)
-
Identify and learn appropriate software and hardware used to run websites and supported by Clue Design.
-
Test fixes to ensure problem has been adequately resolved.

Develop help sheets and frequently asked questions lists for end users.

General Office Duties IT support hardware and software

Website updates using content management system
The ideal candidate will need to have a strong passion with a good understanding of the web computers. Previous experience in creative or information technology industry would be an advantage, any graphical or website/internet knowledge will help you succeed in this process.
The ideal candidate will poses the following skills/attributes:

Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on rapport-building, listening, and questioning skills.

Excellent Verbal, Phone & Written Communication Skills

Knowledge of basic computer hardware, including PC and MAC.

Experience with desktop and server operating systems, including Windows Operating System, Windows Server System

Experience application support experience with Microsoft Office Applications, Internet Browser Technology, Graphical Applications.

Low level programming skills would also be an advantage

Junior Web Designer
Clue Design is a leading supplier of professional website, e-commerce & technology solutions in Australia ensuring real business value for our clients. We are looking for a fulltime Junior Web Designer to join our experienced young & dynamic team.
This is a very challenging position requiring a highly productive person with integrity, a desire to succeed and grow. We are looking for someone with the right personal characteristics, proven capabilities with strong work ethic and attention to detail.
As a Junior Web Designer you will be reporting to the Senior Design Team and be responsible for:

Designing and developing new websites
-
Updating and maintaining existing client sites
-
Data populating and image editing
-
Designing and building email campaigns
-
Providing support to clients
-
User Testing
-
Documenting procedures and other web specifications
The ideal candidate will have a qualification in web/multimedia related discipline. Previous experience in creative, internet or information technology industry would be an advantage. Previous website/internet knowledge will help you succeed in this process.
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills/attributes:

A Tertiary qualification in Web Design or Multimedia is advantageous

Proven commercial experience in web design industry is preferred
-
Demonstrated experience in or understanding of: CCS, XHTML, JavaScript and mark-up language

Working knowledge of the Adobe Suite, primarily Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Illustrator and Flash
-
Understanding of CMS driven websites
-
Understanding of cross browser compatibility and web standards
-
Understanding of design principles, colour, typography and balance
-
A portfolio of design work is preferred
-
Excellent communication skills as you will be conversing with non-technical users

Self-motivated, passionate, enthusiastic and willingness to learn and grow
